My Father's World 1st Grade (with tag along kindergarteners)

Join me in a photo journey of our 1st grade year (with tag along kindergarteners.) We used My Father's World "Learning God's Story" 1st grade curriculum. The kindergarteners are doing the My Father's World "God's Creation from A to Z" without many of the extra activites (since we had just finished it with my older two a couple months prior.)

Meet my first graders. Clark was 6 and Katya was 7.

Meet my kindergarteners. Brody was 5 and Callie was 4.

They enjoyed using the pattern blocks.

The kindergarteners loved using the cuisenaire rods.

Art time.

Learning to recognize Upper and Lower case letters and their sounds (kindergarten.)

Little Callie spelling words on her own.

Math time. I used Singapore 1A & 1B for the 1st graders. (Singapore ended up not being a good fit for my oldest child, Katya. We ended up changing to Math-U-See after a few months.)
